Please note we do not take payment through our website, as such your order will be picked and packed to acquire the correct shipping costs before we send a quote for payment.
Here at Fairy Meadow Miniatures we refuse to quote an average shipping cost, we feel it is important to only charge you what is needed, to get your parcel delivered to you.
We prefer to ship out via Australia Post and use their online tracking service, however sometimes for larger parcels it works out cheaper to use a courier and will do as required.
If you order something that can go in an envelope then I will ship it that way. Note however that many small things still can not be sent by envelope as the mail sorting machines can damage the goods.
We will not compromise the contents of your parcel to save you money. Packing your miniatures for safe travel is always our priority.
We charge for shipping through Australia Post as follows:
Upto 500g - $10.70
0.5 to 1kg - $14.25
1kg to 1.5kg - $17.65
- Anything larger will be based on weight.
- Items that can be sent in an envelope is classed as a large letter and will cost $3
- Note for small quantaties of wood strips there is an additional $4 charge to ship in a tube / box to avoid breakages in transport.
- International orders will be quoted based on actual cost to us from Australia Post
Free shipping is only available for orders shipped within Australia and does not include dolls houses or room boxes.
We would also like to let our customers know that we do consider our environment and endeavour to use recycled packaging of boxes, bubblewrap and tissue paper where we can. We do this both with our internet customers and our in house customers too.
